Most adult Saturdays are £45 per day (including most materials) unless stated otherwise. Workshops run 10am-3pm. 10 places only so booking is essential.

Clear out your jewellery box this New Year and bring along any old, broken, unused or unwanted jewellery and trinkets and spend a day learning how to reinvent them, creating new, wearable pieces.

Throwing & Ceramic Pots

A fun and addictive workshop learning how to ‘throw’ a pot on an electric wheel. Over the course of the day have 2 sessions on the wheel and also get a chance to try hand building and also adding decorative finishes to your creations.

Machine Embroidered Gardens

Inspired by spring landscapes, create your own machine embroidered image using fabric and thread. Combine machine embroidery with appliquéd fabrics and threads.

Printmaking
with Tozzy Bridger
A full day of printing to create your own ‘artist’s book’ capturing a range of prints. You will use print methods such as dry point etchings, linocuts and embossing to make images on a chosen theme. To finish the day you will make a concertina book to collect all your prints in.

Fused Glass Plaques
with Kate O’Connell
Spend a relaxing day getting lost in the world of fused glass. In this workshop each participant will be given a large sheet of clear glass and be asked to design and create a design for a decorative plaque. Coloured glass can then be cut to size to match your design, perfect for wall art, house names or gifts. No experience necessary.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to make a short film? Do you want to know what is involved behind the camera? Work with filmmakers Compulsive Productions and learn about the film making process from script and storyboards through to filming and directing with professional equipment. The workshop will take you through each of the stages and end with you filming your very own short film…ACTION!

Digital Editing
with Compulsive Productions
Do you have a video camera but never know what to do with your footage? Are you interesting in learning how to tell a story? With filmmakers Compulsive productions you can learn how to edit in creative and dynamic ways, build a story, add titles & music and export it ready for sharing online via Facebook, YouTube, etc. The course aims to teach the basics of the whole editing process allowing you to then go away and create your own films to a high standard.
10am-3pm – £45 per session or £80 if you book both sessions together.

By popular demand and an excellent workshop for any of our intermediate/advanced attendees. Jane will be delivering an enamelling workshop making enamel plaques and beads. Various techniques including scraffito, stamps & cloisonné with be covered during the day.

Electro Etching
with Sarah Macrae
A jewellery day for those with some experience. In this workshop learn and have a go at the fascinating technique of electro etching. Using salt water and a battery charger etch the surface of metal to create a textured plate, which you can then use to emboss your own jewellery designs.
10am-3pm – £45 per session including all materials.
