Making Space was delighted to collaborate on a creative project designed for Carers funded by The Art Society Portsdown in 2025. Crafting Respite was a project for people that care for a loved one (parent, spouse or child) We delivered 6 creative sessions covering a range of creative activities, which participants attended for free. The project included the following sessions:
29 May - Beaded Jewellery | 5 June - Air Dry Clay | 26 June - Hand Embroidery
3 July - Felt Decorations | 17 July - Print Making | 24 July - Creative Typography Collage
The project was completely free for participants to attend thanks to generous funding from The Art Society Portsdown. The sessions gave those attending some quality 'me time' enabled them a safe space to relax and get creative with a group of others.
