Making Space is delighted to announce a new creative project designed for Carers funded by The Art Society Portsdown.
Crafting Respite is a project for people that care for a loved one (parent, spouse or child) We will be delivering 6 creative sessions covering a range of creative activities, which participants can attend for free. The sessions all take place on Thursdays from 10-12noon and the project includes the following sessions:
29 May - Beaded Jewellery | 5 June - Air Dry Clay | 26 June - Hand Embroidery
3 July - Felt Decorations | 17 July - Print Making | 24 July - Creative Typography Collage
The project is completely free to attend thanks to generous funding from The Art Society Portsdown. The sessions will give those attending some quality 'me time' enabling them a safe space to relax and get creative with a group of others.
Those interested in applying should contact us using the button below, we just need a few basic details from you such as name, age, postcode and your caring responsibilities.
