welland trust bursaries
Making Space is delighted to announce a fantastic opportunity funded by The Welland Trust Charity. We are looking for care experienced people who will join us for free bursary placements on our creative programme and an opportunity to get together for those that want to.
The Welland Trust supports projects and initiatives that benefit adults who have experienced care. We define 'Care Experienced' as someone who has lived in care at any point in their life. This includes foster care, residential care, kinship care, or at home with a supervision order.
We hope those involved will benefit from coming together, increased creative skills & knowledge, enhanced physical and mental well-being and enjoy the opportunities on offer. Over the twelve months of activity, each participant will get to try two specialist 5-wk courses of their choice, join in with a monthly Craft Club and Open Studios taster sessions and an opportunity to take part in a fun group workshop for those that want to get to know one another! (Please note this is not an essential part of the project)
This opportunity is completely free to access, no referral is needed and is suitable for those 16yrs+ but there is no limit on age for participants. There is space for 10 individuals to get involved there is no application process.
