Making Space is a charity that without regular subsidation from local authority are reliant on fundraising to offer our lifechanging range of services.

You can make a one-off donation for any amount, and really – no amount is too small. Or, if it helps to quantify your donation, here are some examples of what your donation can buy: 

£5 = 2 papercraft kits for community workshops
£12 = Indigo dye for a kids shibori workshop activity 
£20 = 2 craft community workshop places
£54 = Disability craft equipment 
£160 = A 5 workshop course for a local carer, providing much needed respite

fundraising

To enable us to do the valuable work that we do Making Space fundraises to various grants and funders - to all of whom we are extreamly thankful. Making Space currently receives no core funding from any local authority to cover the day-to-day work that we do. ​Hampshire County Council does supports Making Space through project grants, which help fund Reach Out and give us use of the building.
